THE MISSION:
POISON CHERRY is dedicated to taking the audience on the Ultimate 80’s Hair Metal Experience. A brief look at some of the bands they’ve played with (STYX, Loverboy, Bad Company, Vertical Horizon, Faster Pussycat and Tone Loc) will prove they mean business and are professional. While one look at the band itself will prove they are not run of the mill.
NIKKI LIXX / LEAD VOCALS AND ACOUSTIC GUITARS:
The big hair, tight pants, good looks and reckless disregard for political correctness are all embodied in the front man, Nikki Lixx. He will blow you away with his stage antics and searing vocals.
D.D. SEMANS / LEAD GUITAR AND VOCALS:
Sporting the longest tongue in D/FW, as certified by Gene Simmons’ “Family Jewels” on A&E, D.D. will have the audience going crazy whether it’s swinging his arm, a high kick or playing behind his head.
THRASH / LEAD GUITAR AND VOCALS:
Thrash, will make you pump your fist as he rips through Eddie Van Halen’s “Eruption” and dazzles the crowd with his fast licks and guitar tricks.
RIKKI SLAMBORA / BASS AND VOCALS:
On bass Rikki will leave you guessing what he’ll do next whether it is running through the crowd while playing or smashing a bass because it just seems like the thing to do as he pumps the groove on the low end.
JAKK WYLDE / DRUMS:
Beating on his gargantuan 12-piece kit Jakk stays true to his “Wylde” nature as he flips, twirls, and breaks sticks while keeping it all together in his killer spandex.
